Production: 1500 bottles
Appellation: IGT Toscana Merlot
Alcohol: 14,5% vol.
Location: Massa Marittima
Altitude: 60 m. a.s.l.
Soil: sandy silt with a significant amount of clay, rich in rock fragments
Farming: mechanical weeding; pruning, shoot thinning, suckering, leaf removal and green harvesting exclusively by hand
Harvesting: by hand, in small crates
Alcoholic fermentation: in stainless steel casks at a controlled temperature of 25 °C. From 40 to 60 days of skin maceration
Aging: 12 months in 300lt tonneaux. At least 12 months in bottle after assembly
Special notes: Rich, velvety with intense balsamic notes, this wine is the ideal accompaniment for fine meat dishes such as fillet mignon, pigeon or lamb. The long and spicy finish also makes it the ideal companion for a last glass to be sipped on the sofa
